Lena-Winslow has a rich and long history of success in boys' track and field. 

From the early 60's to the present, this school and community has seen some

 of the best track and field athletes in the area.  This web site and the information

 it provides is a tribute to the athletes that participated in the program.  The success

was started with coaches like Ray Pongratz at the high school and Ray Spielman

at the junior high.  Under the leadership of Mike Taft, the junior high continues

to feed the high school program.  Marv Kaiser, Jim Cox, Ric Cupp and Gary Rich

have all had a hand in coaching at the high school level.  I know there have

been others. Today's athletes have carried on this "tradition of excellence"

as the high standard of performance and success. is perpetuated into the
